A Big Thank You to all the UMW ladies that helped to make our Women's Spring Festival a success. I had comments (all good) on the food, the set up, the fashion show and all the vender booths. I also want to thank all the ladies of the church that supported us in the event. We were raising money to help The Journey Home. Once again, I invite all ladies of this church to consider coming to our meeting on the first Tuesday of each month or joining one of our four UMW groups. For information please call me or Jualanna Mitchell.

Member of the Month
Honey Denson was born and raised in Columbia, TN. She graduated High School in ‘99 and continued studies at TN Tech. She graduated with a degree in Secondary Education, English in Dec. ‘02. Honey and her husband Clark were high school sweethearts and married in Aug. 2002. They have two boys Luke and Joshua ages 3 and 15 months. The Densons are expecting baby #3 sometime this fall. In college, she became involved with Tech's Wesley Foundation and it was her first real exposure to the United Methodist Church. After graduation, they moved to Knoxville and Honey taught. She took a break from teaching when Luke was born and moved back to Middle TN to be closer to family. She plans to return to teaching someday. Her son Luke has a rare, genetic bone marrow dysfunction syndrome called Shwachman-Diamond and Joshua has Down Syndrome. She feels blessed that they are very healthy despite their issues, and she enjoys being a full time mom to them.
Honey has been a member of FUMC and the Giving Circle for 1 ½ years. She attends the New Life Sunday school class.
